ANALYTICAL SERVICES

RPS have added new services to their analytical suites, by setting up a new laboratory facility to analyse for explosive and chemical weapon residues in soils, waters and a variety of other matrices.

The facility has been equipped with state of the art instrumentation such as triple QQQ GC/MS, LC/MS, GC-TEA and TGA-DSC along with new drying and remote grinding equipment, to enable fast sample processing. RPS can now test for the presence of chemical weapon related chemicals such as mustard gas, lewisite and their degradation products in complex matrices such as soil and building materials.

The facility has been fully licensed for the analysis of explosives, chemical weapons and controlled drugs after rigorous inspection by the Police, Home Office and Chemical Weapons Inspectorate.
